ABOUT ME

Throughout my career, I have demonstrated expertise in engineering, project management, strategic planning, and driving positive change across multiple industries.

Early in my career, a mentor shared a valuable piece of advice: “Becoming a comprehensive leader, engineer, and manager is the best way to add value to a company.” I took this to heart, seizing every opportunity to grow into a well-rounded leader and person.

At first, I focused on developing my own skills and knowledge. But over time, I realized that true success requires more than individual growth—it demands leadership, mentorship, and the ability to uplift others. About 15 years ago, I recognized that sharing my knowledge and experience with a young team would not only help them develop their careers but also create a stronger, more cohesive unit.

For me, team building is the highest priority, and developing those around me is the foundation of success. A great leader is, above all, a mentor and supporter—empowering their team to achieve more together than they could alone.

Professional Journey

I am an engineering and operations leader with extensive experience in project management, strategic planning, team development, and process improvement across multiple industries, including manufacturing, construction, and automation. Throughout my career, I have led multidisciplinary teams, managed large-scale engineering and capital projects, and implemented systems that enhance efficiency, quality, and profitability.

I served at Weinig Holzer USA, I was Manager of Engineering and Automation Machinery Division Manager, where I standardized engineering processes, improved production throughput, enhanced quality systems, and mentored a young engineering team.

Before that, as Vice President of Engineering at Morrison Textile Machinery Co, where I drove innovation, improved product development, and implemented modern engineering tools and processes. I successfully shifted the company’s mindset toward embracing technology, optimized manufacturing efficiency, and led quality control initiatives under ISO 9001-2015 standards.

During my time at Technical Associates, I played a pivotal role in transforming the company’s construction division from financial losses to profitability. I implemented effective project management and operational strategies, developed internal training programs, and created procedures to improve project execution.

At Shaw Industries Group, I managed major capital projects, developed process improvements, and led large-scale plant modernization efforts. My work significantly increased efficiency, reduced costs, and introduced cutting-edge automation solutions that improved production capabilities.

Earlier in my career at White Electrical Construction and Caraustar Industries, I gained valuable experience in electrical engineering, safety management, and project execution. These roles strengthened my ability to lead complex technical initiatives while developing my leadership and problem-solving skills.

Now, I am seeking my next opportunity where I can apply my leadership, engineering expertise, and strategic vision to drive operational excellence and team development. I am eager to connect with organizations that value innovation, efficiency, and strong leadership.

Implemented Engineering Systems to develop standardization to improve the engineering group throughput to improve manufacturing.  Developed a collaborative team and mentoring environment for a young engineering team.

Reduce cost of projects by executing 3D modeling designs. Deliver quality direction to design and development sections as well as direct ISO team with a keen focus on accomplishing designated business targets. Hired a diverse workforce introducing the first minority engineers into the design group.
